Incident Reports

Please Note: If you have just been in an injury auto accident or if you need emergency assistance dial 9-1-1.

Minor traffic accidents and/or minor traffic incidents can be reported to the Harrison County Sheriff's Office phone number at Ph#812-738-2195 and select option#1 on the phone menu for central dispatch.

If you have been the victim of a burglary, theft, battery or assault (or any incident other than an auto accident) an incident report would need to be created to document the crime. All incident reports are created by officers. If you need to report an incident please dial 9-1-1 and central dispatch will contact an officer in your area. They will document the situation and create the incident report.

If you need to obtain a copy of an incident report or check the status of an incident report please contact the Sheriff's Office at 812-738-2195 and select option 5 on the phone menu.
